Villa Park - touchline exposure
As part of understanding the scale of the opportunity at Villa Park, we analysed a game between Aston Villa v Wolves which aired on Villa TV. Over 90 minutes, the touchlines are clearly visible for over 9 minutes. This has been packaged for you in the video below. An initial viewing suggests that the areas near the corner flags and the centre section of each side generate the best exposure. The analysis is game time only and doesn’t account for additional bonus visibility during pre-game or post-match analysis.
We have also analysed a game between Aston Villa v Crystal Palace to understand if the results differed between broadcast providers. In this game, the touchlines are in view for over 10 minutes. Again, we have packaged for you in the video below. Similarly, the areas near the corner flags and the centre section of each side generated the best exposure. As with the Wolves fixture, this is game time only and doesn’t account for additional bonus visibility during pre-game or post-match analysis.
Our Visit to Villa Park
Our Print Testing
During our site survey and trial visit, our autonomous robot printed adidas, Betano and Trade Nation at 1.2 metres tall. Prints were positioned 1 metre from the touchline, to comply with the laws of the game. Following on from this, we put together a simulation video (below) to include some of your current brand partners at the same scale. The impact is impressive.
Operational streamlining
As your own team now know, we work closely with any grounds team as part of game day readiness. From an outcome perspective, our logos are dried and bulletproof to withstand any amount of traffic (machinery or pedestrian) and to appear perfect on TV, regardless of weather conditions. Some clients also engage us to effect a full removal according to the playing schedule, to reinstate a clean, blank canvas.
AS SEEN ON TV
HOW THIS COULD BE FOR SEASON 25/26
For the club, the value of printed positions on the nearside touchline is significant. GroundWOW is the enabler when it comes to leveraging this underutilised-asset and bringing the full extent of the opportunity to life. If you are excited by the prospect of major returns from world first technology, we would love to talk some more.
