GroundWOW® Breaks Boundaries at Bramhall Bash
We had good innings at the recent Bramhall Bash as GroundWOW® autonomous technology deployed four high resolution images around the field. The event was held at Bramhall Cricket Club in Cheshire and featured a T20 charity match, starring England cricket legends such as Jonathon Trott, Monty Panesar, Dominic Cork, Ryan Sidebottom, Darren Gough, and captained by England fast bowler Alex “Bambi” Tudor.
The four images were the logos of the main sponsors: PCA, Sia Group, Bramhall Cricket Club and 1000 Hearts for Harry, the charity the event was being held for. The prints were all created within a tight operational window ahead of the event, using the GroundWOW® SFX Max printer. This model was designed specifically for touchline activations and prints up to 3m wide, at an unlimited length – easily coping with the scale of brand presence increasingly seen on football pitch run-off areas.
The event itself was a huge success, raising lots of money and awareness for the 1000 Hearts for Harry foundation, in association with Cardiac Risk in the Young. The charity raises funds to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families. Innovation that stands the test of time comes from the heart, benefits others, and makes a positive impact on society, and we were proud to have been part of the occasion.
